About the moderator

Ross McLeod is an Associate Professor in the Indonesia Project, which is located in the Arndt-Corden Division of Economics, Research School of Pacific and Asian Studies, at the Australian National University. He has been working in and on Indonesia as postgraduate student, consultant and academic researcher since 1978, and is a fluent Indonesian speaker. He has been Editor of the Bulletin of Indonesian Economic Studies since October 1998.
